Excellent list. Here are some additions:

To expand on your Field Validation Rules - the ability not only to make fields conditionally required, etc, but the ability to validate the contents of a field based on other fields' values or external conditions and to have the error messages show during editing. For example: Birthday can't be greater than today; if condition x, then age must be between 20 and 29, (and with nested ifs) etc. And of course, have these work with data across tabs.

The ability to put text unrelated to a field on the screen, for example, as an informational message.

The ability to make the screen layout more flexible to use space better or make it more readable - 3 across without progamming, blank lines, horizontal and vertical lines.

More to come.

I completely agree with this list. The one I could really use right now is the record tagging. I'm getting ready to migrate users from various other contact managers (they use whatever they want right now). Tagging would be a nice bridge into the system. They could tag records with their custom data and I wouldn't have to create lots of little custom fields. Tagging would be very, VERY useful.

Thanks for publishing the list. It's a good read.

You'd be surprised at how many of those wishes are being worked on as we speak. Unfortunately, I can't say any more.
