A lot of my facination comes with its innovation and that it's very well put together. Everyone does have different needs and it might not be a fit for entire organizations to adopt. Thus, as a consultant you might not be going in recommending it to your client to provide all users. RSS is not as widely accepted as email yet and using it requires users that "get it". However, in every organization, there are those savvy individuals that use tools like RSS that would welcome this. Also, as an admin, this can be used for monitoring data and the like. I think that Spanning Salesforce is targeting individual end users that want this functionality rather than selling accounts to all users within an organization. I think they'd welcome the latter, but their target is for individual end-users. Chris – I actually am quite fond of the product. I've been living RSS for about a year (and Salesforce.com for longer than that), but it just doesn't provide any big bang for me and I don't see recommending it to clients.
