Winter release stable so far

Salesforce.com has been very responsive to both my post here and my Support ticket even though it’s not a show stopper issue. Problem not solved yet, but I give them credit for being on top of my issues.

I completed the training session this morning/afternoon and the system was stable the entire time. So far so good with the Winter release in terms of stability.

    My app was of and on all morning on east coast. We are very disappointed with svc.

    Our Winter ’06 installation has been good so far. Like some of the new look and feel too.

    Stable would not be a term I would apply to salesforce.com service since January 2006 began. At 10:45 am Monday morning, Jan 30th, I and my staff are in our third episode of their system being very slow or down completely. It has been down now for over an hour – intolerable for a sales customer satisfaction oriented company making scheduled outbound calls to customers or attempting to look up account history.

    We are going on 2 years with this service, yet only canned respinses from support@salesforce.com well after service is restored.

    Cannot access online support services for status unless you are logged in. When the system is down, you cannot log in.

    We are beginning to regret reliance on this system. When it is up again, we will export all of our critical data and begin looking for an alternate service or CRM solution.
