Searching the Salesforce forums

Since the new search rolled out on the Salesforce forums, I have had problems finding things. The format of the search results is a bit hard to follow in my opinion and I was very used to the old format. For example, I liked seeing the author’s name right there in the results. I figured out the URLs for the old search pages and I thought I’d pass them along.

Basic Search

Advanced Search

Enjoy.

Hooray for Scott! Thanks for taking the time to track that down and post it! It’s been quite irritating to be so limited when searching (and the original one was barely acceptable to start with, could’ve used a date filter).

Very, very nice. I find the new search features difficult. When I want to look for something in the discussion boards… *that’s* where I want to look. Thanks, Steve.

Oh yay!!! thank you! I feel better that I am not the only one who is confused by the new search!

I couldn’t even find where to get help info on how to use the new search, or who to contact to say - hey this is not working!

    Thanks Scott!!
