Ideas coming in the Winter ‘09 Release

I noticed that a recent idea of mine was marked as coming in the Winter ‘09 release.  I decided to check if I could craft a URL to see others tagged as such and, sure enough, it worked.

Very cool, the Marketing Influence report looks like it could be very helpful.

    Hi Scott,
I just received an email from sfdc stating that my instance (NA5) will be upgraded to Winter 09 on Friday, October 10th.

It seems strange that the update is coming before Dreamforce. There’s always hype about the new functionality coming in a winter release. This release seems heavy on improving “Ideas” so maybe it wasn’t considered exciting enough and they will promote Spring 09 functionality instead.

NA1 is at Friday, October 3rd 2008 from 8:00pm PDT to 2:00am PDT

FYI: The Spring ‘09 feed seems to be live now but only holds 3 ideas this far: http://ideas.salesforce.com/popular/coming_in_spring_09
